I Just Have to Let Loose Right Now!!!!

i am getting really sick of the apartment managaers not telling us anything. Since school is out they said the pool will be open from 1-8 now. I go down there just a few minutes ago and they are closed with a schedule on the gate saying its not opening until 3:30. WTF???? thanks for sending ME or anybody else in this complex a new scheule. thanks to this little oversight of theirs i have child screaming in the next room b/c she thinks she can't go to the pool.

i know sometimes when it comes to viola i get alittle demanding but i told them this before i moved in here. that viola is autistic and she is on a routine and safety is an issue. now i didn't bitch to much when they stuck me on the third floor i just tried to make sure she was safe. and THEY TOLD US they were sending new schedules out any way b/c one day a week they close to the pool for major cleaning. i am just so made b/c they have all these ppl goofing off at the office right now(two of them were in pool the other day when everybody elsewas off for the day,so that's why nobody answered the phone). plus we have men coming in the apartment to replace the windows so i would like NOT to be here b/c viola might get into something and hurt herself and this is a small place and there are like 8 ppl on the crew(would be kind of cramped here LOL).

well anyway i just wanted to say this place sucks and i can't wait until we can move or afford to buy a house again. i really hate this crap. now i feel like crap b/c viola is upset and i had to try to discipline her out in public b/c she started going into meltdowns, like most autistics do when off routine. i feel like crap and not even a fricken sorry from these ppl. thanks for letting get that off my chest.

Oh dear Kassia,

I sooooo understand about dealing with an autistic child who has things "changed" in his life. People don't have a clue how difficult it is for the child and parent.

I really feel for you. The whole world has really gone to crap as far as service is concerned. You can't go to a store, or a doctor's office or anywhere and get your needs met anymore. No one cares worth a damn. I'm certainly not making excuses for the workers at your pool, but I guess they hire just about anyone off the street who is willing to work for minimum wage, I would imagine. You get what you pay for. You probably have to contact whoever is in charge and let them know how you feel. That certainly doesn't help your immediate situation, but hopefully somewhere down the line things might improve. I've found, unfortunately, that the squeaky wheel gets the oil (or whatever that expression is ). The more you bitch and complain, the more gets done. It's frustrating, but true. you are right but these two particular gentlemen love to make excuses so i just try to pick my battles, and this is one they ahve been made aware of.i am not a nasty person but seeing my child go through a meltdown makes me go nuts too. what is really sad is that one of them has an autistic(or asperger's but similar problems)son and knows what this kind of thing can do to a child with this disorder. fortunately she calmed down i am letting her play check up on me while typing LOL. what a great doctor.and we have about half an hour left. the pool is also great therapy for her b/c the feel of the water, and she has learned to swim on her own b/c she wanted to keep up with the other kids.
