I just did what I said I would not.

As some of you Moms know I was so determined to not buy any more maternity clothes because this is my last pregnancy. Well, yesterday I bit the bullet and bought another pair of crop pants, 2 T-shirts, 1 tank top, & a button up blouse. This warm summer-like weather here this week has driven me to this. I came to the rationalization that my pants were too heavy for summer. I wore them when pregnant with DS but that pregnancy went through primarily the winter & spring months. I'm hoping now I can say that I am finished buying clothes. I think I have enough crops & capris, shirts, shorts, & dresses to last me all summer. I guess I will have to wait and see if I change my mind. I guess I'm pretty hopeless.

LOL, Kristi! It's a woman's RIGHT to shop for clothes...maternity or otherwise! :D }( :D

I understand, this is my last too. I thought about what I should buy and not buy, it's hard to decide. I've been as good as possible. Most of my stuff is bought of ebay, cheaper than what the local resale shops are selling for. Some is bought from resale, and only a very few items are bought new but always onsale. So far I have:

2 pants
3 capris
1 skirt
4 shorts (more than I meant but one pair was so cheap, sooo)
8 shirts (which include some to workout in)
4 workout bottoms
1 smimming suit

these include some stuff for the spring/winter - pants and long sleave

and then intimates - which had to be new, so that kinda hurt, but couldn't be avoided.

I still have my old winter maternity, but am smaller than I was then, so I sold some of that. But I was depressed when I looked at my old stuff, nothing cute really. My poor husband had to see me in long sleeve t-shirts plain colored and jeans or khakis - not much inspiration there! So I swore I wasn't gonna dress totally drab this time, I can be cute and pg. Oh and for what name brand stuff in going for on ebay, I'm sure I'll get a good chunk of that money back next spring, not all but a nice chunk. Anyway don't feel to bad, you get sick of wearing the same thing and getting big, that it's mentally worth a little variety.
:)

Julie, That sounds like a good shopping trip! I didn't think I'd buy much for this pregnancy either, but I outgrew my regular clothes too early for my former mat clothes, which are all summer clothes.

You sound like you're going to be a very nicely dressed pregnant woman. Where did you buy all these clothes?

Cheers,
Sandra

I don't blame you...I would love to buy some crop pants and a few more T-shirts, but I keep telling myself...only 8 or so weeks left, only 8 or so weeks left...so far it's worked, but man I'd really like some clothes that didn't make me so DARN HOT!!!
