You know, I've heard all kinds of b*tching & moaning--at least in my area--about the customer service at HD. But I must say, while I've had HD credit card issues, the staff at my local store is nothing short of outstanding. They're all so incredibly nice & helpful. Crap, every single one says "hi, how are you" whether you need their help or not.

Let me tell you, I'm there on almost a weekly basis & every experience is a great one. Maybe they have a really great manager b/c I don't think I've ever shopped anywhere where everyone seems so GD happy all the GD time! :)
 
The employees at my local HD are the same way!
I was shopping for a digital lock for our front door (we seem to be key challenged:rolleyes:) and I was greeted by every employee I passed.
I was offered help choosing my locks. I must say, I'm happy with what they recommended!!

Ditto on the shout out!!:D:D
 
My HD isn't great. It's always a challenge to find someone to help me. But, that's the way it is with most superstores.
 
The HD (and Loewe's) guys drive me nutso!! (I'll admit - its not a very far drive:p) Whenever I don't need help, there are 10,000 of them standing around saying "hello, can I help you, how are you, helping finding anything?" Whenever I need one, there isn't an associate anywhere in the next 5 aisles! However, when I do manage to track one down, they are very helpful. I especially like the paint department guys, always friendly and helpful.
