I hate maternity pants!

Does anyone else have this problem.......I am almost 24 weeks and I bought a couple of pairs of maternity capris and after a few hours they end up like "plumbers pants" (pants that start bagging in the back falling off my hips). I normally wear a size 8 (sometimes 6) and I buy size medium in these pants (Old Navy brand-which should be my correct size). What is the deal? Should I go up another size and wear low rise, regular sizes? Right now I am wearing lower rised jeans in a size bigger than I normally wear-pretty soon it will be too warm for jeans. Help, I am tired of constantly pulling up my pants!

Sorry for your troubles :-( ...I actually found maternity pants to be quite a "refreshing" change from my normal wardrobe. They were soooo loose fitting and comfy!!! Now they are getting very snug on me so I'm not truly comfortable anymore but for several months I was in my glory!

Well this won't help, but I can commisserate. I have exactly the same problem. ALL day, every day, I am pulling up my pants. People are constantly telling me I need suspenders. It is rediculous! I have low rise, middle-of-the-belly, and over the belly styles, and those (over belly) are the only ones that actually stay up. But I like my other pants! I just have to resign myself to tugging at them all day. You should see me, trying to hike up my falling pants through my winter coat...soo graceful.

And it's not like these things are too big on me. They actually fit perfectly- I think they are MADE to fall down!

GRRRR!! I hate it too. My first pregnancy I found a really cute pair of flood syle full panel from motherhood.com that I absoutly loved and I never had that problem. I only bought one pair since I was still working at the time and wore mostly business atire. By the end of the pregnancy they were completely worn out. This time they don't have the ones I bought any more so I opted for a new pair of old navy full panel. They DRIVE ME NUTS!!! Always falling down...and it's not like I don't have anything to keep them up with. I got really big fast this time. I am seriously thinking about writing to Old Navy to let them know that the fabric they choose for the panel is too darn slick, and there's no rope to tighten them. My sister gave me a pair from Walmart or target or some place like that, not the cutest so I hardly wear them, but they are low rise and I have the same problem with them. Maybe they'll bring back the ones I found at motherhood...I swear I'd buy a few pairs just so I'd know I wouldn't have this same problem with other pregnancies.
