I Hate Cardio Chick-in, Thursday, 3/16

Okay, ladies, normally I'm the opposite of a cardio hater, but I need some cardio love for tonight because NOTHING is appealing to me.

GIMME THE CARDIO LOVE.... I promise I won't bother you again:p

Not a cardio hater, but Shelley, you had pizza today AND I know they stocked the Coke machine. Get your a$$ in cardio gear baby!!!!!;-)

Y'all are hilarious.

I had PUB scheduled for today, but slept in (again), even though I went to sleep earlier last night. Therefore I did an upper body workout at the gym during lunch in a pyramid up style. What I am really happy about though is that I decided to also add a 1 mile walk/run and walking lunges, even though it was not on the schedule. Doing cardio unscheduled like that is unheard of for me. I have done more cardio the past week than in a long time. Usually I can only make myself do cardio 1-2 a week, but this week I did 5 out of 6 days.

My best friend, Maria, who I was telling you was a 8 time marathon runner, suggested that she fly down to Houston (she lives in Florida) next January and we can do the 1/2 marathon together. I am hoping that I can get up to 13 miles in that short a time! But now that is my new goal, to be able to finish the 1/2 marathon by next January. That is earlier that I had thought I could do a 1/2 marathon, but I think it is a good goal. I told her she would have to go slow with me though!

Diane, I'm so glad you posted. For awhile there I thought you bailed on us--LOL! Hey, I'm so proud of you. I'm soooooo impressed that you would do a cardio ADD ON!!! WOW!!!

Well, it's probably a little early for us to toot our own horns but I , for one, am really proud of us! We've done good this week--so far:p

Now, what happened to Ellen? Ellen, oh Ellen, where are you? Come back!

Little Demon Women,

Let it be known that I just finished Low Max! SO THERE!!!!

Shelly,

I expect a full report tomorrow morning of your cardio workout! I will be reading the checkin's.

;-)

Bail? No, not me. I just don't workout until late in the day because I never wake up on time! And I was at the social security office all morning getting my name changed, but at least that is done!

Talk about working out late in the day...I just finished my cardio and it's after 11 PM. I keep telling myself that I'm going to get it done but I am the queen of procrastination! I wanted to get some strength training in but alas, it's late and I'm really tired.

I'm not going to scold myself, though. I haven't had a perfect week, but I can't remember the last time I did cardio 5 days in a row. Small steps...that's what I always say!

Thanks Melody! I think I'm about to cry or something. Oh dear, I've posting with Ame too long--LOL!

Michele

I don't know but I think it's pretty funny how were going back and forth between threads:7 :7 :7 :7 :7

Okay...that's enough...it's bedtime...good night Gracie!
