Did not quite make it all the way up (I fell off) LOL. I can bring my knees in, I just cant get vertical! I was so excited that I finally got to try one, I had to share!

Thanks to all of you for all your motivation....all of you have helped make me try harder to succeed..I figure if all of you ladies can do it , I might as well try too!

Keep up the good work...You WILL accomplish this! We all have our stories of the ball going one way and our bodies going another way!!!

A sense of humor helps in the beginning!

LOL Joanna- I tried this for the first time recently too. I could do the bring in the knees version, but the full pike- no way! We'll get there eventually!

Joanna~

I am humbled by the challenge of the stability ball. I love that it makes us all work harder. You can't go "off into a daydream" and "lose your focus" either. All around, it's a winner! Keep practicing and you're gonna get it!

I just conquered the pike after a many, many, MANY failed attempts. I have fallen off the ball and landed in more embarrasing ways than I ever could have imagined. I still can't do it every time. What does work for me (and as someone else has said), pull in that core as hard as you can while trying to stick your butt up in the air. It also helps if I have the ball on a yoga sticky mat (which I think is what Cathe does as well).

Good luck. You WILL get it eventually.
