C-Max is one of my lifetime faves too! It's kinda funny, because when I first bought it I tried it once and didn't like it very much (probably because I was a hi/lo loser at the time), but I dusted it off early summer 2002, did it with barbell squat and lunge leg circuits only, and became instantly hooked.
I tried a neat variation of C-Max this past Friday: I did the cardio cycles only, straight through, by fast-forwarding through the resistance cycles (the DVD version of C-Max makes this an 8-second process), slung on the Cardio Kicks leg power drills afterward, and then did about 10 minutes of heavy squats and lunges with barbell and weight vest. When all was said and done it felt almost as intense as doing the resistance cycles as produced throughout the workout, but it really felt like it went faster! Go figure.
