I forgot about Circuit Max.....

I just finished Circuit Max this evening x( . And boy did it kick my butt! I forgot how hard it is. Cathe just keeps saying and now 'pick up those weights' or 'now back to Cardio'. I thought I was gonna die:-( . I like Cardio and Weights but it is no comparision to Circuit Max! Cardio and Weights is fun but for a real kick butt workout it is Circuit Max for me! :7 :7

I let my friend borrow this video and I want it back so bad! I went to get it back but she lent me her pilates videos and I lent them out to a girl I run with.So I won't ask my friend for CM back until I get hers back b/c I am afriad she will want them back and I don't have them:) How confusing is that?
I do need to get it back though b/c I haven't done it in a year,I know what a awesome workout it is, and it will be just like getting another new video.

I just did this a few weeks ago, and had forgotten how tough, and how much fun, it is. I have also used it as a two-day split, doing the lower body and cardio one day, and the upper body the next.
 
C-Max is one of my lifetime faves too! It's kinda funny, because when I first bought it I tried it once and didn't like it very much (probably because I was a hi/lo loser at the time), but I dusted it off early summer 2002, did it with barbell squat and lunge leg circuits only, and became instantly hooked.

I tried a neat variation of C-Max this past Friday: I did the cardio cycles only, straight through, by fast-forwarding through the resistance cycles (the DVD version of C-Max makes this an 8-second process), slung on the Cardio Kicks leg power drills afterward, and then did about 10 minutes of heavy squats and lunges with barbell and weight vest. When all was said and done it felt almost as intense as doing the resistance cycles as produced throughout the workout, but it really felt like it went faster! Go figure.

Love C-Max. Love it.

That sounds like an interesting combo! Tacking on Cardio Kicks leg drills after the cardio cycles. Hips and thighs are my problem area so this would probably be good for me. And if it went faster I am all for it, because Cmax seems endless to me!

Hi, Donna! It worked really well, because my legs weren't ultra-toasted by the squat and lunge work that is done in C-Max as produced, so I had some real reserves available for the sequential power kicks and ice-breakers (two of my favorite torture moves). I thought I wouldn't need the breaks you get in CK's power drills, having done Boot Camp cardio sequences so often, but I really . . . REALLY did!

I had forgotten about this one for awhile too. But I'm doing it this week. I think it's right in the same league with Imax 1 and MIC.
 
Hi! I pulled Circuit Max out last night. I did the lifting with the barbell and did legs, like A-Jock mentioned. It was great. On the last circuit I put on my ankle weights for the standing leg extension. After the last circuit I did PS CST. I was soo energized. I will have to try A-jocks other suggestion with the kicks at the end.

I just did this one on Sunday and it totally kicked my butt as well. I only have done this one once before and now I know why I don't do it more often! LOL!!! Great workout, I was sweating terribly!
