I don't want to be 43!!!

Yes you may politely decline if you wish - no one will know otherwise. Personally I always go the other way. I am 43 but when the age issue comes up, I tell people I'm 65 - they are truly amazed at how great I look! :)

Don't worry Shelley, from your avitar picture I would have said you were not a day over 30.

When's the big happy day?

Oh, Shelley,

I was crying because I will be 33 this year!! I will follow your lead, I was hoping to skip mine later on this year too!!

I'll be 40 this year and I'm happy about it. My DH's cousin died suddenly and tragically at 35 and that changed my perspective on aging. I think every birthday is a gift now.:)

I understand that too!! It is nice that we do make it to the age that we do. I am thankful for every day of my life, but I wish i could stay 25!!

Don't focus on the number Shelley, life is too short! If you don't feel 43, then you are not 43.

I am 35 and everytime I have to say my age outloud, it shocks me. I certainly don't feel 35. It is tough to hear it said outloud though.

I know what you mean Shelley....I still feel 16 although quite a bit wiser (thought still immature and easily amused by fart jokes). You're a hottie and you have a great family and message board groupies who love you so smile }( and celebrate your SASSY-ness.

Shelly, you look wonderful. It's just a number, the number that is coming for me also. Just pick a different age. My mom held at 29 for many years, until I turned 20 or so.
