I DID IT!!!!

I just got home a bit ago and had to let you all know I didn't chicken out I got my belly button pierced. I was so nervous and boy did I feel like a complete idiot afterwards it was painless just like you said a quick pinch and it was over. I got the H20 spray and get this the tatoo parlor was having piercings above the waist $25.00 Can't beat that huh? The guy has been doing them for 10 years he couldn't believe I was 35 and had 3 kids (Thanks Cathe). My sister-in-law was with me and she is such a pal she said afterwards "I wouldn't have let you leave without doing it" when she told my brother she was going with me she thought I was going to call and chicken out. I love it I am glad I did it and a huge great big Thank You to all your tips and advice and experiences.

Yeah for you Beth!! It is a great feeling to do something cool for you, huh?? I felt the exact same way when I had mine done. Lost the hole when I had surgery a couple years ago....you have to remove all metal....I didn't have the ambition to get it back in......I was lucky the or nurse took pity on me and let me get away with the captive bead in the cartilage in my ear. I feel the same way about my tatoo...something I did just for me.

Me too. I did my tatoo for my 30th birthday. Seems I am on a 5 year streak I better start planning for the big 40.
