Woo-Hooo Lois! Good for you. A feel-good accomplishment, eh? Keep up the good work and I am with you on TRYING to achieve a levitation. My rear just will NOT leave the floor!

Congratulations!!! It is so fantastic to finally master a hard move....now you know all that exercising really is strentghtening your core.

WHOO HOO!!!! That's fantastic. Those are so hard, it took me FOREVER to be able to do them. Congrats!:)

I think I've managed to master the levitation holds. I've discovered that if I do them on the bare wood floor, I can get myself off the ground. But if I try to do them on a mat on top of my area rug that I normally work out on, I can't even get close.

:7 That's great, Lois! The levitation move is easier than the pike, and as Cathe says, attempting the move is already working the core. And what's great is you don't have to fall off.

Good for you! You know that reminds me...my mother came to visit me on Friday and she saw my ball and asked what on Earth can you do on that thing? She has seen me workout with heavy weights, run, swim, fight on competitions when I was younger, etc. and she thought I was now going for the easy stuff. I had to give her a demo and of course I did the inverted v's (pikes). She was impressed! (Of course she doesn't know that when I do PUB I hit the pause button and either rest or do a couple of cardio intervals before the stability ball segment haha), but I don't think she's going to say "do you want that giant ball to play?" anymore.

Congratulations Lois!!!! I'm still working on those levitation holds myself. Great Job.

Way to go!! Congratulations!

If you figure out how to stop your ankles from falling to the floor on the levitations, please let me know!

Isn't that great. I remember when I couldn't do one but now I can do as many as Cathe.

I have a woman who comes to my gym, she's a singer, and I was explaining to her and a few other people that w/o the core protects your lower back/girdles the back. I showed them what pikes were on the ball, I also said that when you're strong in the core you're strong with everything else, she says to me, "so you can also sing"...........;( ;( ;( ;( ;(
