I am making the switch to DVD!

I just bought my first Cathe DVDs. (I have most of her videos). I bought Slow and Heavy, KPC and L&G, and the Terminator--things I did not already have.

My sweet husband is out buying my a DVD player--one with 5 disks! I just hope is is compatible with the DVDs as I have heard that some poeple have had trouble with this and I'd hate to blow a bunch of money on a DVD player that doesn't work with Cathe stuff.

Just thought I'd share my excitment.

Hi Maggie,
I totally understand your excitement. I just ordered the 23 pack of Cathe's dvd's to replace my older videos. I have been ordering dvd's since the intensity series and they are far superior in terms versatility and mix/match capabilities. I have a Sansui vcr/dvd combination that was inexpensive and have never had any problems with playing the dvd's. Knock on wood:) Have fun!

share the excitement!!!!! I hear ya! I got the BB series on DVD as my first commitment to the wonderful world of Cathe DVD. LOve it. Then recently I caved and got the Intensities again on DVD so I could do the premixes. Yup, hard to stop once you start.........

Ya DVDs are WONDERFUL!! If your dvds do not work on your new dvd player you always have the option of taking it back. (I am sure your dvds will work fine though)

You know I have never had a problem with Cathe's DVD's. I have both a Sony and Toshiba 5 Disc players. They are both not even 2 years old, and all my dvd's play fine. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I would stay clear of the cheaper, non popular models, just in case. Have fun!
 
Oh now I am more excited than ever! And poring over the Cathe catalogue to figure out what next, when we can afford it. I think these will keep me busy for a while!

Oh Maggie! How exciting and what a sweet hubby you have! I have a five disk player and have never had any trouble with any of my DVD's. Have fun and we DO KNOW that it won't be long and you'll have EVERY Cathe DVD! :7 Thanks for sharing with us.

Maggie I am happy to hear I am not the only what that pours over the Cathe catalog everynight. You might say I am being a little obessive :eek: (But it sure is fun:) It's like when I was a kid at X-mas with the Sears and Penneys catalogs.
