Hi Trish! So it's still very early days for you! Let's see, if you're 4 weeks along (almost), then your EDD is sometime near the end of next March or early April?
Unless there's a specific health concern, you can continue to run and do all of your usual workouts until they just feel uncomfortable to you. Bear in mind that the extra progesterone in your system, as of this very minute, is going to make you feel more breathless and easily fatigued than before. You may not look pregnant, but you're going to feel some definite changes, even this early on. The general advice is to listen to your body, and be prepared to take things down a notch if you're body is asking for it. Don't worry about your heartrate while working out (that's outdated advice), but do the "talk test." If you can say 2-5 word sentances while you're exercising, then you're working at the appropriate level. Interval workouts that take you into anaerobic zones are generally discouraged. Do Rhythmic Step until you just don't want to do it anymore. In my 31st week, I'm still doing RS and just about every other Cathe step workout. Last week I took out the high impact moves in my step workouts, and subbed low-impact versions.
Regarding your ticker, go back to where you pasted the code in the Cathe forums, and delete the "http://lilypie.com>" bit.
Hope this helps,
Sandra
