You're a new mom? The heck with cleaning the house! Go do something nice for yourself--a manicure or a soak in a bubble bath or play with makeup or read a book or watch a tv show you've been meaning to catch up on. You deserve a break that's *really* a break, not an excuse to clean the house.

I agree. Go take a bubble bath. I know how you feel tho. You look forward to having a break from the little ones and then you don't know what to do w/ yourself. Been there. Not anymore tho. When my Mom or MIL take my guys now it is Paradise here in PA!!:7
I have to admit it tho, I do actually miss them and look forward to getting them back when they're gone. I must be lightheaded from my workout. LOL Gotta go get ready to go to the hospital to see my DMIL.

The pics are great! He is very cute! I agree with the others! Take some "me-time". Take a bubble bath and sit in there until all your fingers look like raisens! Do things that you usually can't do and enjoy it!

Wendy, I have a bathroom you can help me paint. I'm definitely not bored. Hey, you can exercise for me,since I probably won't get around to it. I think I am making excuses for weights because I am getting sick of S&H already. Right now I can't concentrate on that slow work right now. go ahead and do GS and abs for me.

Me, I'm spending a rare night HOME ALONE; DH has a night out with The Boys (a phlegmatic group of middle-aged pot-bellied mortgage banker colleagues who like to get together on the Minneapolis Nordeast Side and bitch). I have the DVD of "Supersize Me" in reserve; however, I'm happily cooking up some new workout music tapes. Simple pleasures for a simple mind.
