I am back.....what a week it has been!

My MIL is in the hospital with respitory problems, my dad is in the hosptial with a blood clot in his leg....I had another job interview (I start next week) and my husband has had strep throat this week, so I have been playing nurse to him.

I am glad to have a little time to get back on here! I missed you guys!

Oh, no! And you just got over being sick! How is outlook for MIL and Dad?? (I was wondering where you were.) I hope that everything will be okay for them. How are the kids? I hope that they don't get strep. What will your new job be? I think I must have missed that post.

Hey Missy.....My mother in law is getting out today. My dad I am not sure about, they may have to put in one of those filters to catch blood clots from entering upper body. The kids have not had strep throat, and I hope they do not get it! I am going to work for Lab Corp as a Phlebotomist again. I used to work there last year (and for the last 10 years), but the contract position I used to do, they ended all the contract Phlebotomy, so I am going to be working full time now. I am going to miss my kids during the day...I am used to being home with them most of the day.

What on Earth is a Phlebotomist? What I wouldn't give to be around adults again! I can understand you missing the kids, I would too. They are all so precious. But I love speaking with more than a three and four letter word vocabulary! How are you and hubby doing? I tried to send you an email yesterday, but it got returned. How are things working out? I have been thinking about you. I will also be praying for your Dad.

I get asked that a lot Missy....I am a Vampire...LOL. I draw blood, and process it, so it can be tested. I used to just go to nursing homes from 5 am-7 am and draw blood, so I was back at home by the time my husband had to leave for work. The lab stopped doing that, so they cancelled our contracts....so now I am finally going back full time. I am excited to get to make some money for a change, but I am tired of being a Phlebotomist, I am burn out! I would love to go back to school to be a Med Tech (the person that performs the tests on the blood), but I dont have the time or money to do it right now.

Things are a little better with DH, I made him go to the Doctor to get something for his nerves so he would stop being so short tempered with the kids....I could not stand it anymore! He cusses at them, and screams at them for little things...even the 2 year old.The doc put him on welbutrin, so hopefully that will help.
