Good Morning!:)

I am willing to bet Wendy and I will be starting this thread at the same time today...in my defense, I gave her tons of time to do it;) I know she has already been on Facebook today!!!:p

So happy to be off of work today! I love just staying home (just not all the time:cool:) Its easier when DH is gone and I know DS would be devasted today if he had to go to the sitters. I already asked him if he was going to Michelles and he said "nooooooooooo" with a wimper added in there!

We went out for dinner last night and DS was pretty good. The atmosphere was kind of noisey so it was perfect for him cause he is noisey. But then he pooped in his pants on the way home. Ugh! What a state he made. I had to take the carseat out when I got home and thats not a easy job.

Laura** Sorry to hear you werent feeling well last weekend! I hate those stupid headaches. I use to have them alot when I was a little girl!

Good Morning Ladies,

We went to my niece's basketball last night and they kicked Azz! It was a great game and the whole family was there to cheer her on.

I will be heading down stairs for Disc 9-legs this morning. My chest is still sore from those heavy flyes the other day. Yesterday I did HIIT dble wave pyramid and coremax. DWP wasn't as hard as the first time I did it. I think there's only 1 new w/o I haven't tried and that's Step Moves. Hopefully I can give that one a try this weekend.

Lori-Sorry about DS's "accident". I'm sure today will be good since you are home. What workout do you have planned?

Laura-Glad to hear you are feeling better. Oh yes, meso 1 seems to be full of pushups! I am getting better at them but I will probably never like them. Hope your SIL feels better now that she is lifting weights again.

Morning Ladies ..

today is my FRIDAY .. yes I am taking vacation THURS and FRI ...:D:D:cool: .. DH is on vacation .. and next week he starts LOOOOONG hours .. so we are gonna have a long weekend DATE NIGHT :eek: :D:D;) :cool:.. might do some gambling .. might get out of town .. but whatever we do gonna have fun doing it!! :D

DOMS reporting in bis and forearms :confused: YOWZA .. can barely straighten my arms .. last night PLYO class EXCELLENT .. was a sweaty mess when I left .. wore my heart rate monitor and my class burned 498 calories woohooo I'll take that . . I did learn something wearing it .. I thought I was letting the heart rate recover more after the plyo move .. then we go straight to body exercise (thinkin active rest) .. OH NO .. the heart rate only recovered about 8 BPM on the recovery .. then during body exercise it climed back up 5 bpm ..soooooo NO recovery .. no wonder my class complains :eek: :eek: oh well .. it is a killer workout!! :p

Lori .. ooohhhhh sorry about DS accident .. poor thing .. is he getting to where it embarrasses him??? that is the worst .. I just feel so sorry for them when they have an accident and feel so bad about it ... poor kiddo!! ya .. my headaches/migraines .. unfortunely my eyes are the main cause .. then stress doesnt help antyihng .. I have them all the time .. ugh .. and they are NOT fun!!!

Di .. yayayayaya on the team kicking some arse and taking names ..woohoo!!! Step moves - I gave it to SIL .. she is the stepping queen .. I knew I wouldnt like it . . I like the more athletic step not the dancy step .. my knee doesnt like a lot of twisting and pivoting .. but she loved it ... said it was tricky .. complex choreography sooooo you might view it before you do it ..

Hello to all that follow .. gotta jet .. got TONS of paperwork to muddle thru .. have a great one .. and great SWEATY workouts . .. today calls for a repeat of disc 2 at lunch (make the rest of my arms sore) .. then tonight is 4 step plyo/core/plank/LB torture :eek: cant wait to see what the heart rate is gonna do on that one .. should be all over the place .. OK .. better run .. have a great one!:D
 
Happy Hump Day ladies !

Yee haw the work week will be over in 2 more days ! Didn't get a workout in last night - too many other things in the way. Tonight S/B Disc 5. My back problems seem to be tightness in my entire back so got some muscle relaxers and hopefully they will help with stretching, heat, ice, etc.

Lori - I love staying home too ! I did it for 13 years and was never bored. I did start a small craft type of business that a few others and I did home parties. We had a huge variety of homemade items and it was a blast for the couple of years we did it. Wish I had time to do my decorative painting now. Really I'd love to go back to school but am not seeing how I could fit it in. Perhaps I'll get organized like the rest of you one of these days? :rolleyes:

Diana - Good to hear the game was fun. I remember having my parents at my games when I was in high school. It was so nice ! Bet your niece was thrilled that they won ontop of having all the support. Can't wait to do DWP (I think :confused:) since all of you seem to love it. Did check out the lineup of exercises - seems to be a good one.

Laura - I am so sorry for you and the migraines. I can't stand it when I get bad sinus headaches - can't imagine have a full blown migraine ! Good to hear you are better and your workouts are DOMing you consistently. Nice to know a workout did some good.

Off to battle the storms on my way to work. We are getting pounded but it is intermittent - when I left for work it was not raining but had thunder and lightening about 20 min previous and we couldn't even hear the conference call from the other end of the phone it was so loud ! Haven't washed away yet ! :p
 
Good Afternoon!

Late check in for me today! Did HiiT 30/30 followed by ctx kickbox cardio with my weighted gloves on. GREAT work out! Tri's and butt hurtin' today from Power Circuit Training from y'day. Tmrw will be another Jillian or Jackie weight work out no doubt. I will continue with this until month's end. In feb I think I will switch over to Gym Styles for a bit and give endurance training a break. I was going to go back to the X but with the new EARLY schedule I don't need to be committing to hour long work outs just yet. I can break GS down to a body part a day if I need to in order to fit it in while I get used to getting up even EARLIER! :eek: Perhaps I will do one body part and one short cardio like HiiT, BBC, Insanity Month 1, etc. for a month!

On lunch so don't have time for personals right now. Hope to get back here later but going to my mom's for dinner straight from work so I'm not sure it will happen.

Just getting a minute to check in before dinner and of course Im not cooking b/c its just the 3 of us. DD wants Subway, so subway it is:)

I had a interesting and good workout today. I did 2.5 miles on the TM, 40/20, 2.5 miles on the TM, 30/30 and then disc 7:D and I don't think I have yawned all day:p

Laura** Im jealous...you get a long weekend and I have to work all weekend. Hope you enjoy it! DS doesn't get embarassed! He wouldn't care if he had a big turd on his head! LOL

Jacque** I don't think I would want to stay home all the time...I would probably lose my mind! But I do like a couple of days a week to do the things that need to get done. I don't think I would want to work Mon-Fri.

Diana** I really enjoy DWP, probably b/c I don't have any equipment to put away after LOL The only move I don't really like are tuck jumps.

I may bbl tonight!
