How to do add a picture to your profile?

The biggest hurdle is that you must have paid webspace to store it in. Many companies offer free remote hosting (that's what it's called) but soon they take it away and people's profile pics appear as little squares with a red X.
So if you have web space that for example "comes with" your ISP, find out if there's remote hosting available.
Otherwise paying Yahoo (it's really cheap) is worth it if you have a use for web space with remote hosting without annoying ads that keep popping up and bothering the viewers.
You could try it to find out: upload your pic to the site (make sure it is small enough *before* uploading, resizing after does not count) and then paste its link (the link to the picture, not to a html page with the pic on it) in your profile and see if it comes up. The link to the pic should end in "jpg" or maybe "gif" but not "htm" or "html."
