How many weeks before you told your children?

Hello mommies,

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and have already started showing (it's mostly just from overeatingx() and already have a few folks in my office looking at me curiously. I don't think the cat will be in the bag much longer, but was wondering how long you waited before telling your children about the new baby. My DD will be 4 next month and, of course, hasn't picked up on anything yet. I kind of hate that she is missing out on all the excitement. I'm a little hesitant because I had a miscarriage five years ago at 16 weeks. So, let me know how long you waited before sharing with your children.

Congratulations to you!!

I'm 8 weeks along with my 3rd (also have a 4 1/2 yr old boy and a 3 yr old girl). I went ahead and broke to everyone yesterday, and am glad I did because I'm already starting to pooch out!

I think it's really up to you on when you're comfortable telling everyone, but since the first trimester is just about up for you, it may be a good time to do it.

I worked full time while pregnant with my other kids and told everyone at work around the 10th or 11th week I think.
