Good point. And, appetites are different. We all know people who consume a low number of calories not because they are trying to "reduce", but because they are just naturally light eaters who aren't into food (who are these crazy people?! :+ ) My only point, in response to the OP's comment that it seems like the only way she can lose weight is to starve, was that if a person is already in good shape, eats well, gets plenty of exercise etc., and has to fight like hell to lose a few more pounds, then that person may be battling her body's natural weight, I think it's being called "set-point" these days. Is it bad? Who knows? I can only speak from my own experience.
