How Long Before You See The GAINS??

Yes, I was just wondering if there is a rule for seeing results when you train?
If you are working a certain body part (or all or whatever), when would you normally "get" the results of the one workout? (not neccessarily "see" them-- you know)?
Is there a scientific rule for this? (as in, does it magickally appear after a few weeks or would they normally grow within a few days?)
And while we're on the topic, when IS the protein most inportant for replenishing the muscle? The day OF, day AFTER, day BEFORE..?

I think a rough time frame is about 4-6 weeks to start seeing the results of consistent training, give or take (depending on your schedule, etc).

It is important to replenish your body with a protein source within an hour or two after your workout, particularly lifting. It is a good idea to get a protein source at each of your meals to keep your body satiated and help fuel your muscles all day long. Your muscles actually do the most repair & growth during rest.
