How long before split routines?

Hi everyone, I also posted this on the Ask Cathe forum but am also hoping for input from the educated crowd! Thanks!

Hi Cathe,

I am getting back into weights and doing MM 2x/week (only about 2 weeks so far). How long do you suggest I do full body workouts before I go to a more split routine such as GS, PS or S&H series? Thanks and I am looking forward to your upcoming workouts!

I suggest giving MM another four weeks, trying to up your weightloads in the process.

THEN, go to the Pyramids (Pyramid Upper Body and Pyramid Lower Body) and do that system at least once a week for 4-6 weeks depending on how you muscle up.

THEN, go to your split routine of choice. I'd suggest going with the Gym Styles as your first split routine, then the Slow and Heavy Series. Stylistically and kinesiologically, S&H is quite different from Cathe's other split-set series and is focus and concentration personified. A goal series to work toward.
