How long B 4 calorie kick in?

Is 2 x 30 - 45 min workouts (1 AM 1 PM) just as suffiecient as 1 x 90min workout when you are aiming for 'fat" burning, or is it unique to everyone own fitness level and heart rate excertion?

My gym has started offering 30 min "express" workouts for the time concious people (this includes warmup and cooldown) and I was just wondering if this lengh of time was sufficient for Calorie burning or not.

I know any movement is better than no moment, but are the short workouts just a waste of time?

I am by no means a fitness expert, but a calorie burned is a calorie burned. The 30 minute workout will probably burn less calories but it is better than nothing.

I read in my Prevention magazine this month if you walk an extra 20 minutes per day, (at any pace), you will lose 7 lbs. in a year.

That just shows you that some activity is better than no activity.

I just read today about a new study which suggests you burn MORE body fat doing 3 10 minute workouts than 1 30 minute workout.

I think the bottom line is, do what you can when you can. It's all good!
