How do you manage to eat clean with family??

You said that your husband does not follow recipes, but do you think he would if you gave him one to follow? Even though I am not on Weight Watchers, I love their cookbooks and use them all the time - especially "Cook it Quick". My husband absolutely loves how the recipes taste. It would taste great for him and be WW for you. He can just have bigger portions if he wants. But my husband doesn't cook at all so it is a lot easier for me to control the recipe.

What my husband and I do is both have the same thing, but I just have a much smaller portion, add a small mixed greens salad with almond slices, add a bigger helping of vegetables, and a small fruit. So I am not eating totally clean, but at least I am eating less of it and also getting fruits and veggies. I have definitely lost weight since I added the salad and fruit - it keeps me full even with the smaller portion size so that I don't raid the pantry later.

Another thing that my husband and I do is to plan out our weekly meals before we go to the grocery store. That way we are not just grabbing random stuff off the shelves, but only bringing home what is necessary for the meals we planned. If he knows whats on the schedule, and he doesn't have anything bad in the house to cook with, how can he go wrong?
