How Do I Use This Forum?

Hi Everyone!!! I've been going through all the messages to get an idea on how I can get in on this, and I really don't have a clue. Please help!! I'm new to the forums! I introduced myself in the "open discussion" the other day and have been trying to get an idea how to use this one (not wanting to sound stupid and have to ask) but I'm going to have to ask....Do I just jump in every day and say what workout I did or is there a specific thing groups of you are doing?

I'm relatively new here, too. I'm August. Nice to meet you.

As for your trying to get an idea on how you can get in on this....you already ARE! :p

If you'd like to join in on a particular Check-Ins or Challenges, I would suggest you read through the various threads here to find which one might be suitable to your tastes - are you a runner, or are you doing the 12-week challenge, or do you hate cardio (that's where you'll find me ;-) etc. Then once you decide where you'd like to be, just go for it and hop right in! Everyone here is really kind and you're sure to be welcomed whereever you write.

So don't be shy - just choose your type of check-in or challenge and introduce yourself there! :)

Hi Jill and welcome. :)

The Daily Check-In is for anyone to post the work outs they did that day or plan on doing and for a little social chit-chatting as well. Everyone is welcome so yes, just jump right in!:)

The P90X Check-In is for those doing a P90X rotation.

The 12 Week Challenge Check-In is for a bunch of us who have decided to go full tilt and try to get in the best shape we can in 12 weeks! It's a little friendly competition idea one of the posters came up with to help motivate.

The Runners Check-In is for well...runners! LOL Wether you are just starting out with running (like me) or have been running for years, if you run for fitness this is the check in for you!

The Hardcore Check-In was started when the hardcore series came out. I don't think the gals in there do strictly hardcore work outs though...it's probably along the lines of another daily check in thread at this point.

The I Hate Cardio Check-In is for those who struggle with cardio work outs...not because they can't do them but because they don't want to..thus, the name!

The others I don't know anything about to be honest but we are a very friendly bunch here and I'm sure any check-in(s) that you decide to join will welcome you with open arms!:)

Hey....don't forget the chinup checkin!! Not only are we one tough group of women....we love donuts. Who else can offer this? Chinups and donuts. And in a few short weeks you will be one buff babe.

Briee (just had to put in a plug for our checkin!! Once you experience the bar...you will be changed forever.)
