how do I convert body fat % into pounds to lose

Recently I had a body fat caliper test done. My age is 46, wt is 127 and body fat% was 30.5. How do I convert that percentage to figure our how many pounds I need to lose in order to get the body fat % number down to say 23-25%. I would like to lose 7 to 10 pounds, 30.5% seems like I have to lose more than that.

Can you help me figure it out? Thanks.

PS: I do cardio 2-3 x/wk and total body sculp 1 to 2 x/wk.

First find your current LBM ( lean body mass)

Easy Way

weight x body fat= 127 x.305= 38.74lbs of fat

Take your weight 127 and subtract 38.74 =88.26 of lean body mass

Now that you know your lean body mass, you take your desired body fat ( say 24%) and sub it from 1. So 1-.24=.76. Take that number and divide by your LBM . So 88.26 divided by .76= 116.1 lbs. So yes you need to only lose about 10lbs in order to be at 24% body fat and 116lbs. Hope this helps
