How did you tell?

I'm just curious how everyone told the great news to their loved ones...even including DH! Or how you are planning to, if you are waiting a bit...

I always wanted to do something "cute" for DH and my mom but I was so shocked and excited that I just blurted it out to both of them!!!

I was several days late getting my period but really didn't think I was pregnant...I didn't think it would have happened that fast with no real "planning" on when the best time is for us to try to conceive would be. My DH was buggin' me to take a test so I finally got up and took it one morning before he was awake...I still never thought it would be positive! When I read the result my jaw almost dropped to the floor! I ran right in to our bedroom and blurted it out! LOL

About an hour later I called my mom and just blurted it out to her too! I didn't wait to tell anyone! I was like a little kid! LMAO! It was great!

I also must freely admit that I am one of the women guilty of taking a minimum of 3 pregnancy tests before I got in to see my doc just to MAKE SURE!!! lol

i too had conjured up cute ways to tell him...right after taking the test i just blurted it out also. just couldn't wait!!

My husband and I tested before my period was even due because we had planned a trip to Alaska with my parents that week. So we wanted to know before we left for the trip. The home tests weren't really showing much so I went for a blood test. We found out on Tuesday and I had to hold the news in until Thursday. I tried to think of cute ways to tell my parents but just wound up saying "i'm pregnant" when I saw them at the airport. We had a couple of hours before our flight so we spent the time calling everyone else.
