We went there for lunch...we always eat out on Sundays. ANyways, I thought I did GREAT! I got grilled chicken-4 tenderloins, corn, and green beans. BUT, I am sure that cracker barrel is too yummy to be low in calories!
I love eating at Cracker Barrel when I get a chance. I usually get a meat that doesn't have gravy on it and green beans and a salad. It really just depends on what you select to eat and they have a low carb option as well on their menu. I love eating there for breakfast as well.
We went there for breakfast and I thought I did very well .
I had oatmeal and usually I get sliced bananas and skim milk. This time I ordered fried apples but only tasted them and gave the rest to DH. HONEST!!!;-)

Isn't it funny how we would think that something so delish would have to be very high in calories! Well,I was very excited recently because I discovered that my favorite meal at Long Horns(steak house) is only 15pts( on WW)I get like 32pts a day,so as long as I'am carefull the rest of the day,I get to eat it........MMMMMM...Rocky Top Chicken!
I love breakfast at Cracker Barrel but I'm not as good as the rest of you. I order the pecan stuffed pancackes, two of them, with SUGAR FREE syrup and then a side order of two scrabbled eggs. I figure this is kind of middle of the road.
The days I do this, I skip lunch cause I know the calories are pretty high

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!
I used to get pancakes with fruit but have found they make me super full and very sluggish pretty much for the rest of the day.
I have no energy to get anything done!
I just said to my Dh over my oatmeal the other day, that one of these days we have to go there and eat breakfast for dinner! Then I might get a good night's sleep! ha
I don't really have an opinion of Cracker Barrell....but I thought it hilarious that on the Cathe Open Discussion page, with this topic as the Last Updated, it says...."How bad is crack..."
I was like "WHAT'S going on in the Open Discussion today???"

I first went to a Cracker Barrel in 1991, and have been hooked ever since. There ARE healthy choice, but the Cracker Barrel site does not have a nutritional breakdown of it's menu. HOWEVER, Dottie's Weight Loss Zone (a site geared toward Weight Watchers followers) has this on Cracker Barrel, and should prove helpful even to calorie counters:
