I made my reservation (& Sheela - aka momoftwo) yesterday at the Fairfield. They already had the "Cathe" rate in the system, I had actually called with a question & they said they could go ahead & book my dates. We are coming in Thurs & they gave us the discount rate for all 3 nights!!! More $$$ to spend on Cathe stuff.

Just made my reservation at The Fairfield Inn! eeeeeee!!!!
So excited, makes it all seem a little more real, making plans and

doggy hotel.

Hi there
Dont mean to hijack this thread, i'm flying from Toronto as well! I was going to see if any Canadians were out there. I havent booked my flight, but i'm thinkin about flying out Thursday night!
Steph
Stephanie - I can't fly out Thursday night. I wish I could. You may want to avoid booking any flights that I'm on though I don't have much luck. Last road trip my flight got canceled 25 minutes before it was supposed to take off!
My roommate Katie and I have our reservation at the Fairfield as well. We are both flying in from Minnesota on Thursday morning. We should start a thread the week before for people coming on Thursday so we can all get together for dinner or something.
I believe I read somewhere that at previous RT people arriving at airports were wearing their black Cathe t-shirts to recognize one another. This might be a good idea for us Thurs arrivers. Any past RT's care to comment on this idea? Does it have to be black? I prefer pink myself.
My roomie & I are palnning dinner at Jai's restaurant.
I'm a first timer. I thought having a Cathe tee was a great idea, but I hope it doesn't have to be black -- I just ordered the pink and white "Embrace the Challenge" baseball tee. (I relied on the opinions of my 14 yr. old twin DDs as to the best choice for me. )
I had to teach a class yesterday morning, do a little PT, take care of a few things at home and then it was off to Port Colbourne to teach a couple more classes.(money for Cathe stuff)
I was wondering what your mode of travel was. I thought maybe you were going to drive up. My husband is going to drive me to Cathe Land and he has parents in Kentucky he wants to see. So I think so far the plans are see Cathe :7 , while Daddy entertains 3 kiddies and then take the crew up to see Gramma and grandpa.
I don't like planes much (had a bad experience) and if I drove myself I'd never get there.
I can't wait to meet you I've always thought it was so cool having a Catheite sister just down the road in Hamilton.
