Home trippers: 15 minutes of fame workout filming!

2:15 : You have 15 minutes to film your own mini workout (or a segment from one of Cathe's workouts). What does yours look like? Or do you choose to follow someone else's workout as a "background exerciser"?

Though I wouldn't REALLY do this, because I would feel too self-conscious working out alone in front of a group of people (and couldn't do a segment of Cathe's workouts without some cuing!), I'll make my imaginary self do something.

My workout is a step/kickbox workout that includes NO pivots (some mambos, maybe), NO ricochets, NO tuck jumps or other high-jumping, knee-busting moves. It does include some kickbox moves and some step on high step, including plyo blasts(not the high jump kind)

Here's the breakdown:
5 minute warm-up, similar to the warm-up in KPC.
8 minute workout:
cycling: 1 minute punching combos
1 minute stepping with various moves on the high step at 6"
30 second blast (over the top with propulsion, with low squat off sides)
1 minute kick/punch combos
30 second blast (2 jacks on floor, then jump onto step,
then step off)
repeat cycle
2 minute cooldown/stretch

Let's see... I am not a very creative person but I'll give it a shot.

5 minute w/u, similar to KickMax

8 minute workout -

Basic Step, right
6 count mambo, turning right and left stepping off step
Step down, walk around the step with right foot
Knees corner to corner
Basic Step - left
Do same as above

Basic step, right
Plunge lunges, left, right
step down,
box lunges around the board
basic step, right

Go up and lunge right and left off step, step down and do this again getting height over the board, keep this up for 30 seconds for the blast.

2 minute cool down and stretch

Now I know y'all can follow these directions....:+

If I conducted an step class, with my cueing, I'd have half my class in traction.:+

I'm too tired to think about designing my own workout. I'll just have fun in the back row following Cathe. I would probably get nervous with everyone starring at me and forget my moves.

ETA: I would probably let out a whoop or two. It's not that I like whooping or even noticed that I did it pre-home step workouts. However, I have been known to let out a whoop or two when I'm going full throtle. It works kind of like a workout sigh. WHOOP ;-)
