Holy Crow! Webkinz Love Puppy!!!

Like many of you moms...i've got a little one who is obsessed with these Webkinz stuffed animals. DD has about 22 of them and is asking for the Love Puppy. I thought maybe I'd get it for her for Valentine's Day and just went and checked to see if Amazon has it. They do...for $169! What the...?!?! Tell me people won't actually spend that kind of money on a stuffed animal. Please...somebody tell me that.

It's probably so high priced just because it's retired and must be last year's Valentine promo. I'm sure there will probably be a new Valentine animal out this year. Just my thought. We are Webkinz-obsessed here, too.

we have a couple webkinz but LOL - my dds dont know they "do" anything! for all they know its no different than a beanie baby!!!

I did check ebay (of course), it's one of my first stops...but the bids are even higher than the $160! Parents are nuts!

Last summer I took DD and her best friend on a road trip to the renaissance festival, which is about a 3 hour drive. They were in the back playing with their Webkinz and they were holding their dogs heads out the windows. Lo and behold....BF's Webkinz husky got sucked out onto the thruway somewhere in central NY. Can you imagine her mom's reaction if it had been a $160 roadkill?
