Hip Hop Abs?

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if any of you have these workouts by Shawn T and are they worth the money and time? I just previewed them, of course it was the infomercial, and I want to know if these dvds are really fun and productive on weight loss.

I am pretty sure Lora has these videos. I know you both post on the hardcore thread-I cant remember what her review was of it but I thought she said it was fun.

They are fun. I like Shawn T., he reminds me of Will Smith for some reason. They aren't super intense but if you follow his instructions you will feel it in your abs. I also have his Fit Kids DVD which my girls think is fun! HTH!

I don't feel like I get a workout at all, I guess it's ok for abs, but I barely break a sweat. I recently took one out to get in some light cardio after a weight workout, and even then it was not nearly intense enough.

However, I LOVE Turbo Jam (also a beachbody.com video). I feel I get a great cardio workout with any of the Cardio Mixes and Kick, Punch, and Jam, and I really enjoy doing them.

I have a customer who LOVES the Hip Hop Abs work outs. I have a few of the Rockin Body work outs which are also by Shawn T. They are fun but not very intense IMO. I third the vote for the Turbo Jams though! Especially if you do the work outs with weighted gloves on! So much fun too!:7

Thanks so much for all of your responses! That helps me with my decision. Speaking of Turbo Jam I borrowed these from a friend to try them out just to see how I liked them. They are so much fun, so that's one of the reasons I wanted to know opinions on Shawn T, because I wasn't sure if I would like those a little better. I think I'm going to go with the Turbo Jams and get the weighted gloves too! Thanks everyone!
