Hi All-
For those of you who do both Hiit training and steady state, which type of workout seems to make you feel less drained post workout during the rest of the day? Or, have you even noticed a difference?
I've been incorporating 2 Hiit workouts ( either Insanity or STS Cardio) a week pretty consistently for about 2 months. This is subbing out an interval workout like an Imax for a Hiit workout and I swear I feel less drained the rest of the day. I think doing more steady state workouts make me less energetic. I'm not sure if its bec. the workouts are shorter... I usually do 30-35 minutes of hiit training vs 40-45 minutes of steady state or if there is some scientific reason for this occurring. (I'll modify either the STS Cardio where I do a workout and a half to get to the 30-35 minutes, since these are shorter)
Was curious if anybody is going through this or has a different experience.
Thanks in advance, Lynn M.
