HIIT It HARD! Last week of Sept!

Morning lovelies!


I had a really great gym w/o w/ DH yesterday. I like when he is there to spot me so I can really go heavy. We did 20 min HIIT - sprint 9.8 (45-55 sec) & walk 3.5 for a minute. That was awesome. Moved on to heavy chest, shoulders, tris.

Weights were 3 sets of 10 (or however many I could squeeze out close to 10..lol). I did flat bench dumbbell press w/ 40s. Flies w/ 35s. Shoulders were arnold presses w/ 25s and one arm cable lat raises 2/ 25. Those were cookers. Tris were weighted dips w/ 60 lb barbell in lap and overhead extension w/ a 30. I was cooked at the end but felt great!!

Today I think Grace will entertain me and I'll also do abs. I want to get in, out, and done so maybe I'll have a chance to come home and shower before getting Aiden from preschool. We shall see how that works out ;)

Debbie, sounds like you had a great workout yesterday. Nice you DH will do it with you. Do you do your running at the gym? How old is Aiden? Neat name.

Today I am doing Absolute Kickboxing and Combat drills.

Hi, Karen! Yeah, I do my running at the gym :) Aiden will be 3.5 on 10/8. They grow up so fast.

Yahoooo Lorie on a fantastic run! Bring it up here, girl ;) I'm trying to start a fresh thread :)

Today I was in the mood for CCPP. I forgot to take my ipod off shuffle and wondered why we were starting w/ 3 sprints. OY! I went back and started from the beginning, just skipping challenge 3 when I went through. It was awesome.

I worked abs today. Did kneeling rope crunches w/ 150 lbs. Three sets of 10. Next I did oblique crunches on the nautilus machine. I forget the weight I used for that. Last were standing leg lifts (on ab chair) with 7.5 lb weight b/w legs. Great workout.

I threw out my back last night and I am out of commission x( x( x( As we are leaving for Vegas Saturday morning, I am resting, icing, ibuprofen-ing and praying my back feels better by then. I went to work this morning, but called in sick for tomorrow as I am hoping to get to the chiropractor.

Tammy, I do hope you feel better, soon. Take it easy!

Yesterday I did 20 min HIIT on the tread. I sprinted on 10.0 for 30-40 sec and then walked for a min. Holy shnikies. That was tough. I then did heavy hack squats/calf raises, chins/pullups, and some plank work. Great workout.

Resting for the next two days :) Ahhhhhh. I love my down time just as much!

I'm resting today too...I am going to try to get in to see the chiro. I then have PackMAx to do. So I'll see y'all next Friday...have a great week!!
