High Step Training

Hi All, I also posted under DVD questions, but thought I'd post here as well.

I'm a lacking a little energy today and was going to do HSTA - what am I getting into (would be my first time). Can you compare the intensity to another Cathe video for me? Thanks

I find High Step Training Advanced to be a very tough workout. I am usually really wiped out after this workout. I like to do the premix of Cardio and lower body only. That ends up being about 30 minutes and is really really tough. I would compare the intesity to HSC and a little less intense than Bootcamp. Great workout! Give it a try.:)

IMO, HSTA is not one to go with if you are not up on energy. i tried this on one of those rough mornings, and i though i was going to die. its just the sequence of exercises, high intensity step, lot of leg work and leg press, compound movements etc just make it a challenging circuit workout. if you have HSC that might be a bit better or go lighter on weights with HSTA and don't add the jumps.

OMG!!! You are so right. I can see this is an awesome workout, but with my lack of energy, I had the toughest time making it through the short cardio blasts! I did okay with the weights, but the cardio, whew! I modified quite a bit. When I was done I seriously could have went to sleep on the floor! That's the time I should be all pumped up and instead I darn near fell asleep! Can't wait to do this when I have the energy!

Have a great night!!
