Hi, I'm looking into getting the high step for my leg workouts b/c the rebbock step i have does not go that high. That being said which step do you think is best the 12" or 14" one? Does it matter? thanks

I think if you have enough risers from your club step, just get the shorter one. If you could use extra, go for the taller.

I don't really think, I just walk.

i have always wondered about this. the firm of course uses the "14, but i have read on tracie's website that she only goes with "12. now why is that? i am only 5' and have been doing the "14 for years with the firm. is 14 really necessary for my height?

I vary heights, and usually when I go lower, I up the weight I use, whereas I use less weight with a higher step.

Either height can work, as long as your leg is not bent more than 90 degrees when you are at the bottom of the move.

I think this is a personal question and really depends on how you feel when you do one vs. the other. I tend to go with 14 BUT I am pretty tall and my legs are really long, so 12 doesn't do much for me.

Also, I agree that if you already have the club step, you can swap out the risers, so you only need to buy the smaller one (or just the topper, depending on how many risers you already have).
