I just wanted to say Hi, I also live in the Hudson Valley area. I live in Ulster County in Accord but work in Newburgh. I read your post on the clean and tidy post and just wanted to say hi to another HV gal.

Hi Jenn! That's a pretty decent commute. My boss lives in Newburgh and I live in Middletown so the barn in Pine Bush is fairly centrally located for us. Small world, huh?

Hi Phyllis! I was just in your neck of the woods last week at a horse show in Saugerties (HITS). Thankfully we didn't have to go this week and there's a nice month long break for that particular show before it starts up again in late July for another three weeks. You're in a beautiful area up there.

Hi Phyllis,

I grew up Kingston and moved to Accord when I married my hubby. He was in Woodstock Saturday for the Herdegen. It is such a small world. I was in Saugerties this weekend also my dad and step family live there.

Not a HV girl here, but I just had to jump in and say my mother's side of the family is from Kingston. I remember visiting my great aunts there as a kid. My great-grandfather ran a big boarding house/hotel kind of place that I understand is now the Emerson Resort.
 
Hey, look, HV roll call! It truly is a small world. I do think it's very funny that Kingston is such a hot spot.

Jenn, I almost feel sorry for Saugerties because the horse show just takes over the place.

Robin, that sounds like that must of been really nice. That area is absolutely beautiful.
