I wanted to introduce myself to you all! I posted on another board in the forum a couple weeks ago, and have been lurking since, but thought it was time to come out and say HI!
I am 37 years old, married for almost 13 years, and have an 8 yo son and a 11 yo Basset Hound. We have been living in the UK (Surrey) for the past 3 1/2 years, and hope to be moving back to the US before the end of 2006. We've loved living over here, have traveled in Europe as much as we can, but 'home' is calling us and it's time to go back, hopefully to the Seattle area.
Before my son was born I worked as a Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer and Nutrition Consultant for several years for a large health club chain in Minneapolis, MN. I love fitness, but have fallen away for several years due to motherhood, illness, moving, etc. but decided last year to get my rear back into gear! Got back into Tae Bo, which I enjoy, but then decided to check out Cathe and I'm totally in love! I really think that these workouts will help me to get to the next level and lose those darn last 10 pounds, which would bring me back to my pre-pregnancy weight (albeit 9 years later, LOL!) I'm hoping that by my 40th I can be in the best shape of my life. :7
