Hi Annette

I know you teach Aqua, but I was wondering if you taught any "land" classes as well.

You just seem like a "Body Pump" or somesort of "Strength Training" girl to me.

My Body Pump instructor is awsome............but knowing how YOU train, he would be a "sissy" in comparison, and you would be an "inspirartion" for any participant...........Id be first in line for your class!

Hi, Marion! I don't teach ANY land classes, only aqua, and if you saw me doing any decent land cardio (which I only do at home to Cathe) you'd understand why. In my head I look like a flash-dancer; to other people I look like I need to be defibrillated. Not exactly Poetry In Motion.

I do love strength training, but (I'm probably gonna tick a few thousand people off by saying this) I'm not a big fan of Body Pump and its many branded clones. Body Pump is extremely rigid about how its instructors can conduct their classes; the instructors have to buy the new choreography all the time, as well as the music, and have to be recertified through BP, etc. Sounds like a big racket to me, and not the kind of class I'd like to teach.

That's the beauty of aqua - it's considered so Olde School that nobody pays attention to it, and that means instructors are free to do what they want.

Haha - "flash dancer" ah? ...........me too.......like Jennifer B (cant remember her surname), not the Jennifer Lopaz version..........thats just tooooooo sad!

I do agree with you about the Body Pump structure, it IS very ridgid, but for me I can slack off toooooo easy at home with weights so I need the disapline sometimes, but with Cardio at home............ Im a "Flash Dancer"
