Hey L. Reese!

Hi! :)

I'm sorry I don't have pics up yet. My husband's computer crashed a couple weeks ago, and IT is working well, but everytime he tries to install the printer, he says it "blows the settings out" - I do hope to have some pics for you before tomorrow though - keep fingers crossed.

Both cats are home now - little Sandy looks so pitiful though, because he's staggering around on those poor back legs. He has to wear an ecollar (one of those cone thingies) on his neck because he's already chewing his stitches! (So ornery!) When I was loving him up this morning, he layed on his back and started pawing and my hands, so I think when his recovery is complete, he'll be a bundle of energy - I so look forward to that!

I'm also going to look for the guys incarceration info if I can find it. There's supposedly a site I can go to and search this guy's name and it will bring up his picture and information. I will link you guys to it when I find it (if I find it!)

So far, the total you guys have generously given has been around $300. I was shocked when they told me that - and that does NOT include checks that people have sent that haven't arrived yet. I have spoken to a couple of attorneys and one CPA and they said there was no reason why I couldn't accept donations myself...so we're building a website where you guys can go to and complete a donation. I don't know when that will be operational though. I will keep you posted.

I will write more later when I hopefully can link you to some pictures!

Hi,

Last night, little Sandy had to go back to the vet because he hadn't gone to the bathroom at all. I mean - not a drop or anything. I could kind of understand the bowels not moving, because surgery can slow that down, but the urinating part had me very worried.

When the vet checked him over, they rubbed his bum and he pooped and peed! She thinks either because of the trauma he's had or some other reason, he needs stimulated now like a baby kitten. I asked her if a peed alot and she said "yeah - aLOT! He went on for about 2 minutes." She also said when he was peeing, he layed his little head back and closed his eyes! Then when she brought him back into me in the carrier, he was very quiet and his little eyes were half shut. It was like he was mellow because he felt so much better! Poor little guy!

Sorry no pics yet. I have them, but we had a hellacious storm here last night and it knocked our power out until after 10 pm. I WILL be posting them though, so please keep checking back.

Thanks,
Lori
