Hey Janice......

I know this is incredibly stupid, but you might be the only one who will share my joy. I got a digital jump rope the other day that keeps track of time, counts my rotations, calories burned etc. I intend to keep at my interval training and I decided I'm going to do a round of jump rope interval blasts (you know the really quick ones and then slow back to normal) as a way to vary my workouts.

Just had to share!! (I realize your toys are infinitely more cool than this, but I just couldn't pass this one up and no one else in the family understood my excitement) ;-) ;-) ;-) "it's just a jump rope mom...what's the big deal?" I made him do 20 pushups for that comment!! - kids.... what do they know!!

Excellent for you Briee!! Are you trying to get back into ship shape after your pregnancy? Sounds like jump roping like that will do it for sure! I am not that great at jump rope...lack of coordination I guess!

Where did you get your new rope? Do you have to load your weight into it or does it count calories with nothing? Inquiring minds want to know. Money is tight right now, but I may have to squeeze it onto my list!:):)

Let me know how it works out for you for sure! You go girl!

Janice

Yes you enter your weight and it calculates from there. One could easily use any rope to jump with, but I must admit...."gadgets" are a LOT of fun.

And yes I'm looking to get the layer of fat off as quick as possible. Lot's of interval #9's are in order!!!
