I just wanted to share a great "find" I found! Around Christmas time my hubby & I were shopping at Sam's Club and saw the neatest piece of furniture(??) called a "Jukebox Media Entertainment Center". It was selling for $69.00 which I felt was a bit high. (At least for me at that time) Well, my hubby went to Sam's last night and bought it for me because it has been marked down to $39.91!!! Our Sam's had quite a few of them. It stands 41"Wx13.5"Dx36.5"H. It is solid black iron with black laminated shelves. It accomodates a TV upto 27". It holds 272 CD's. It worked perfect to hold my combo TV/VCR, my DVD player, my VCR rewinder and my boombox. Also, where the CD's are supposed to be held, I just put all my VHS tapes in the slots and it worked great. Of course, My Cathe tapes & DVD's are right up at the top because I grab them them the most!If anyone knows how to link a picture here, I can take one with my digital camera and post it so you can all see what I am making a fuss about. It really IS neat! I was sooo excited last night that I was up til midnight arranging my zillions of vids in just the RIGHT order. Just thought I'd share a HAPPY moment with you all. That is so neat ! I would be like you too, and want to put everything where I would want it right away!

I remember when we put new carpet in the family room and I didn't want to workout on it, so I moved to the basement. We bought a TV/VCR and a tape rewinder to add to an old bookcase to hold the tapes. Now I have the heavy rubber mats and my barbells, dumbells, mats, steps and all the other paraphernalia for exercising I have collected all neatly placed in the same area. I always take care to keep it neat too! That is kind of funny because I am not such a neatnik in the rest of the house! I was looking at it the other day and it is even fairly well colour coordinated...with the teal, purple, black and crome? for the hexagon dumbells.

I just said all that to say that I feel your "joy".

Hey Debbie,
Just wanted to say I am SO happy you got a new "toy" to play with! Nobody deserves it more.
I have found that something new like that will put new energy into you & make your workouts seem much more fun!
Heck, I can get excited over a new shampoo...makes the shower seem a little more interesting and a little less same old same old. Yes I know, I'm a cheap date.
Enjoy your unit, it sounds great! (Also, we all enjoy something just a little bit more if we got a good deal!)

Susan~I can sooo relate with the "neatnik philosophy" in my workout room a LOT more so then my house! We KNOW what's important in life, don't we? I feel sooo blessed (I know that sounds corny) when I walk into my workout room and see all the great equipment I have. (most of all, my great Cathe tapes) Ruth, you are so funny but I get excited about a new shampoo too! Guess it doesn't take much to excite us, huh? Thanks, you guys, for letting me share my excitement.
