...I was shopping today and Alanis was singing that she 'recommends biting off more than you can chew to anyone'...she certainly does.... and I immediately thought to myself, 'Hey! so does Candi!' isn't it funny how we can think about each other in these ways even though most of us have never met. I thought it was kind of cool and wanted to let you know.

I can't believe that it's 10 years since her first album. I used to listen to it a lot when the kids were little. I mastered the art of coughing at the same time as some of the cruder lyrics. Now I have to stifle myself from scolding 16 year old DD when she is singing along to 'You Oughta Know':+

"Jagged Little Pill" came out the same year I divorced my first husband! Perfect timing. I was just as pissed off as she was, LOL!

My now DH and I saw her in concert a few months ago and she has calmed down alot. So have I. I guess we're both in a happier place.

Oops. Those lyrics would be pretty raw around little ones x(
