I didn't want to steal anybody's thread, but I wanted to answer your question about yoga. I know it doesn't click with a lot of people and it took a long click with me. Once I discovered the endurance, flexibility, balance, and just plain strength benefits it takes to do p/y, I really started to enjoy it. Honestly, I cannot believe the difference in the way I feel when I leave it out of my workouts.
I'm not sure which yoga vids are safe to do when you're pregnant. I know at the beginning of the w/o, they always specify some moves (like inverted, may not be safe during pregnancy.) You may want to ask you ask you mid-wife ~ as we all know, they know all!
Oh, Briee, BTW, my daughter is going to give birth any day now! Her due date is Aug. 6th, but she's having contractions everyday and dilated to two centimeters. Wonder what it's going to be like to be a gramma? Guess I'll find out soon. It's funny, her pregnancy seemed to just fly by while mine seemed to last forever! }( BTW, how far along are you?
Oh, in all my excitement, I forgot to tell you which vids I use. Mostly Kest, Baptiste, Beryl Bender Birch, and my all time fave, American Power Yoga. It has great moves and is good to tack on after a w/o because it's not extremely taxing.
