Hey Bowflexers!

I did a couple of workouts last week but haven't got around to it this week(yet).I did upper body twice last week.Even when I went heavier I didn't get sore like I would with Cathe.I would like to incorporate it every once in a while b/c it needs to be used.
I was running on my treadmill earlier and I was thinking that I need to tell my hubby that he as to use it or it is going to be sold.My opinion is...if you didn't workout before, then buying a piece of(expensive)workout gear, ain't gonna make you workout.I think he thought that if he spent that much money he would use it.But while I was running,I could see him in the next room on the computer, waiting to go to hockey.Believe me,he had plenty of time to workout. He is starting to make me mad....I bet you wish you never posted this question now:+

I hardly ever use mine. I got a postcard from Bowflex today saying there is a recall on it. I have a Power Pro XLT. The recall is for the backboard and the Lat Tower. I called and they are sending me a repair kit. While I was on line I went to their website and noticed they are now offering 2 workout videos. I ordered one. I always thought I may use it more if I had a video to follow. I really want to give it a try, especially for squats. I can use heavier weights for squats except for getting the weight over my head.

I will let you know how it goes.

I have a bowflex and use it all of the time. I did not start this challenge though as at the moment I combine it with my Cathe workouts. I really like it. I use it at least twice a week along with my other workouts or in place of the barbell and dumbells in Cathe's workouts. I have gotten some good benefits from the leg extensions and leg curls. Also the Squat attachment comes in handy to more resistance on my squats. I have managed to get some muscle soreness by really concentrating on feeling the muscles contract while doing triceps, biceps and rowing and lat tower moves with as much resistance as I can. I wouldn't be without my bowflex. I think it adds another element of crosstraining to my workouts.
