I was off working out for about 6 weeks. I now am able to start up again.
Is it normal to have alot of water weight gain at 1st. I am really , really sore. Major Doms. I got on the scale and up 6 # over 2 days. Rather depressing.
Is this just swelled muscles from starting back up?

Any help appreciated.

At Christmas time I took alot of time off and when I started working out again in January I felt sooo fat-it was water retention and it took me a month to get back to where I wanted to be. HTH

Just keep on it and Im sure you will be feeling better in no time-drink lots of water.

Thanks, i just feel huge for no reason and my eating the last week has been really good.
I am figuring my muscles are holding some water for recovery. Thanks alot.

When I started with Cathe feb 1, I gained 9 pounds!! I'm still up about 3 pounds, but it is going down. Drink lots of water and stay away from the scale:)
 
I have been doing Cathe for over 2 years. I just had some cosmetic surgery and i had to take some time off as per dr. orders. I just really didn't think that the time i took off would have that much affect.
It is amazing on how fast you loose the endurance.
40 min run sprint on the treadmill today was a killer.I was doing it easily before.
I guess patience is what is needed, and it will come back.
