You do seem to have a good boss, Shelley. I once worked for this woman who, if I were just one or two minutes late, would ask me if I "wanted a different schedule". There was only one schedule in that office, and of course I knew what she meant.
There's only one person I could pass it onto, and she got one too!
I have very good bosses - both of them. They're brothers and they are very generous and very understanding of my family commitments, etc. I couldn't ask for better. This is also compared to my boss two jobs ago, who didn't even give me any time off when my brother passed away. I had to take vacation to attend the funeral.
Maybe take them home and get rid of them? Give them away on your way home? Someone has to want a cookie or even the chocolates in your desk drawer! Yum!
Oh my Shelley, that's terrible about the boss who made you take VACATION for your brother's funeral, I can't believe that! I think I would have gone ballisticx( I also lost a brother but had a wonderful boss who gave me 6 weeks (more if I needed) to grieve and gather myself back up again.
I've also got fresh cinnamon rolls right now at work but I'm just going to have granola instead:+
Well, I think I'm going to save the cookie for my daughter (she doesn't like cookies all that much, but she'll have a few bites, then I can throw it out!). The Belgian chocolate cookies have been put out for the office to enjoy. Now just the cranberry biscuit...
