Help..the worst summer.....

Hi everyone. I haven't been on this forum for over a month or more. I can't remember. DH and I are in the midst of moving. We are currently looking for jobs all over the place, and we have 2 contenders in Va, and Ohio.(Our plans to move to Pa didn't work out exactly.) Well, we should know soon. Long story short, I need encouragement. I've been down about the move taking so much longer than I thought (but have gotten over that and am just doing what I must do now). But because of that and the hot, hot summer, no a/c in my gym area, and a few other things I have only been working out on and off. Today I w/o twice and might go down again today. (the first time was just a few mile walk with DH - #2 was Cathe Dvd). I've gained back 10# and went up a size. I am so depressed, all the new clothes I bought in my new size does not fit, and my definition is not what it was, my legs got flabby and my stomach ;( Let's just say I need some encouragment from all you guys. I really appreciate this forum and will be here more often now that I have a little more time in my day.. It's also hard to go back to the diet the nutritionist planned out for me. I just lost it, and never thought I would. Please help.....thanks!!!

When things are chaotic it is easy to let things like fitness and nutrition slip by the wayside. Try not to beat yourself up over this. It happened. Now you are at the point where you recognize what happened and are starting to think about doing things differently. Hurray for you. I would encourage you to go back to the previous time you made that mental and emotional commitment to change things. You found the strength and will to make it happen then, YOU CAN DO IT AGAIN!!!!!!! You did something right to lose those 10 pounds and buy those new clothes. What's cool about this time is that you KNOW it will work and you can be successful because you were before. I would also encourage you to go back and remember how great you felt as you saw and felt the changes because of your attention to fitness and nutrition. I imagine you were so proud of yourself and you felt like you could kick a little a$%! Those feelings are RIGHT THERE INSIDE OF YOU, you can access them again!!! Starting again might seem tough to do. You know you are a powerful and formidable person who can accomplish the things that you want for yourself. Believe in yourself and your motivation will come flying back.

Good luck and best wishes,
Sabine

Thanks Sabine,
I really am finding my cardio endurance level very poor, like I am just starting out again. It took me a year or so to loose 70# and I had about 20 to go, now I have 30 or so. I like the harder Cathe tapes but find I have a hard time finishing them....and I hate to do the easier tapes, they are boring..I'm just doing what I can. I'll just do a little more each time like in the beginning. Thanks for the encouragment Sabine, I know this forum will help me get back on my feet.

Howdy Faythe,
Well your already on the right track :7 ... just keep reminding yourself of where you were and where you want to be, and those new clothes are your goal. I know it won't be long before you surpass your goal and set a new one :7 ... you go girl, you can do it .... God bless, Rhonda :7
