Help me decide, please:)

Okay, I have a craptacular cold and feel kind of icky, but I think I'd like to work out because, well, frankly, I ate incredibly poorly today.

So, what should I do? I have HSTA on the rotation, but I'm not entirely sure I'm up to doing one-arm tricep dips just now:p

Any suggestions?

I say skip it:eek: C'mon, just skip it! Put in a good movie or curl up with a book and rest. If you MUST do something go for a walk and do a little yoga or pilates. That's my 2 cents.:) :*

What about a good stretch? Do you have stretch max? I wouldn't do anything with any intensity at all if I were sick. That's just me. Hope you feel better soon:D

I would work out if you are up to it-for the one arm tricep extensions-do it with both arms or do easier tricep kickbacks. I would just scale back where you need to but work out if you feel like it.!!
I hope you feel better-take a nice hot bath after your workout!!

Thanks everyone. I really think I'm going to go with Michele's suggestion, though and just take it easy. My chest is sore, my ears are blocked up, I can't breathe through my nose and my left eye is swollen almost shut. Sounds attractive, huh?;)
 
Here is your perscription:
1. hot bubble bath
2. SO gives foot massage
3. curl up in bed w/ good book/movie
 
Shelley, I'm so sorry you're feeling worse, but happy to hear you're taking the rest advice. I'd fluff your pillow for you if I could reach to Canada.

Good Lord! I say turn off your alarm, go to bed and stay home from work tomorrow! Hope you're feeling better soon.:-( :)
 
Thanks Elaine. I wish I could stay home tomorrow, but today is my last day of a week of vacation and the other woman who works in my office is off THIS week, so no chance of staying home.

And Melody, my pillow has never been fluffier. Thanks:)

I totally understand your desire to workout while sick. I hate when I have eaten poorly and for some reason can't workout, I feel totally out of control when that happens. I had a really bad cold last year and HAD to workout and it ended up turning into pneumonia and I was out of commission for about 3 weeks. It was HORRIBLE. My advice is NEVER workout when you feel bad and listen to your body always, because it knows what is best for you. Okay, lecture is over. I really hope you feel better soon.:)
