First, I pulled my left gluteal. After that began to feel better, I hurt my knee somehow-have no idea how. When my knee pain began to let up, my right shoulder began to absolutely kill me. When my shoulder finally felt better and I was thinking about which Cathe video to do, my costochondritis (inflammation of my costal cartilage that causes severe sternum/rib pain) acted up. When all pain seemed to finally be alleviated, I woke up to a cold on Tuesday and missed work. I'm afraid to believe that I am actually up to a workout, lest trip and break something!! I need words of encouragement from all you die hards!!! Please! Sorry this is so long, but so was my list of ailments!!
Thanks, ladies!!!

You are going to hate to hear this...BUT...YOUR BODY IS TELLING YOU TO TAKE TIME OFF!!! It is screaming at you to stop what you are doing - it is not working for you and your body. If you take the time to allow your body to heal, you can get back into tough workouts.

This is coming from a type A person who used to not be able to sit down - even with a broken foot...well, I paid the price tenfold. Take the time to take care of your body. It is worth it!!

The funny thing is that as soon as I pulled my gluteal muscle (decorating, not exercising) I stopped working out because everything else started going wrong. I haven't worked out in about a month and I am itching to start again, cuz I put on holiday lbs like lots of us, and my jeans are filled to the max! Thanks for the advice -I AM going to start slowly, and look toward spring and no chance to hide in sweats!

I feel your pain!!

My knee started to feel really bad early in December and now the pain has moved up and into my SI joint and butt and it's not a good pain. I took a week off and I still don't feel 100%. I'm so bummed, because I have had to avoid all impact for a while. I am just using the stationary bike and lifting for now and eating really clean.

I hope you feel better soon.

Maggie:)

I hope you feel 100% soon! It took at least 2-3 weeks for my knee to stop clicking when I straightened it and it still feels inflamed when I bend it completely. I tried to keep up with anti-inflammatories and heat pads and I think that helped. It's such a crummy time to be out of commision cuz eating clean this time of year is tough! I'm turning 47 this year, so it's also hard to consider that my age has something to do with my physical probs! I've been working out since I was 25 and I guess I have to listen to my body, as it speaks more to me now than ever before!!

Good luck, and hopefully we'll both be sweatin' with Cathe soon!
