I am getting back into working out at home. Back in the late 80's and early 90's, I had 2 favorite workout vhs tapes. They were "TOTAL BODY WORKOUT" W/ Susan Rasmussen and "BUNS OF STEEL" W/ Greg Smithey. Try as I might, I can not find these on dvd anywhere and do not want vhs as they wear to much. Back then, I went from a size 16 to a size 3. This was after at least 4 months. I changed my eating habits and felt wonderful. I also jogged 4 miles every other day then.
Well, now I'm about 20 years older and 2 childern later, back at a size 16. I remember from the past, it took me about a month to get up to speed w/ those videos. I would like any suggestions as to a current workout at home dvd that would help me to target abs, thigs and buns. Also, if anyone knows of a good childs workout video to keep my kids going, I would appreciate that to

Welcome back to world of working out! You are at the right place for sure.
Why not start off with the beginners/intermediate workouts first for awhile? Cathe has several really great ones, the names escape me right now, but look under DVD's on the home page.:)

Oh, collagevideo.com may offer children's workouts, go take a look.

hi and welcome,

basic step/body fusion is a great value dvd for beginners. its two complete workout plus the dvd has 3 mini workout add-ons for lower body, upper body, and abs. they sell a set at target that comes with a band, ball, step, and weights with the videos for i believe $40.but if you already have what you need its a great deal to get it here.

i am not familiar with total body workout but buns of steel was never really released on dvd except for the short quick toning ones with tamilee web and the newer ones before they stopped making the steel series.

in addition to cathe, i still use my denise austins(she is annoying but has some great workout, just keep the volume to a moderate level LOL), kathy smith, and tamilee webb. always a good all level program that can be modified to your fitness level. i believe denise has a kids program as well. as already suggested http://www.collagevideo.com has a list of kids workouts with clips. you can also search under goals and levels for beginner workouts and check out those clips as well.

I "second" the Cathe pack as a good beginner purchase. Look into the "transfirmer" pack also. They are both complete workout sets for under $60.00 and will be a good start for anyone. Good luck, let us know what you decide! Oh, you can get both systems at Target and Dicks Sporting Goods.
