Heavy vs Light

Ive been reading alot of posts in the weightloss checkin about heavy vs light weight training and I was wondering for those of you who seem to get more results from light weight/high reps do you do a rotation with light weight/high rep then do something heavier like PS or do you alternate both types in the same week instead of doing them during alternate rotations? Which one has worked better??

Hi Stacy,
Every six weeks I switch around my weight routine and got great results. I started out with the PS Series and gained a signifcant amount of strength. I just did the weight portion of the XPRESS series and my arms look much more detailed. I am now going to do MIS for a month and see what happens. With the PS, I do as heavy as I possibly can, and with xpress, I might drop down just a little because it is very high rep. This worked for me cycling from heavy to high rep. I think it is so important to keep changing your routine because your body adapts quickly and it keeps you from getting bored. Hope this helps. Take care!

Thanks, it looks like it's back to the drawing board for me. One more question....do you ever do 4 week rotations? or do you personally see better results with 6? The only reason I ask is that I have one of the oddest work schedules on earth where my schedule changes every month so I'm not always certain that what worked one month as far as a rotation goes will work for the next month.
